The professional craft desk is designed for those who like doing craft but without enough working area and an appropriate working table at home.
Background
More and more people do handwork, among children, the young and the elder nowadays. Some of them have a professional studio but continue to work at home on the day off . And some are just manual lovers, who do not major in but make crafts as a hobby.
After doinguser research, some problems are obvious.
· Few craft tables are fit in small working area in China.
· When doing manual work, the tools and materials on the desktop are disordered.
· Trash is piled up on the table.
· The storage of materials and tools need to be improved.
However, most craft tables in the market are not professional and take no account into the desktop usage but have a good storage, which leads to people to make a handmade table for themselves. Some did not solve the problem of random placement of tools and materials on the table.
Even when the price is very cheap, the storage function and quality are given up. But professional craft table have a high price and are not suitable for small space and for less targeted population.
Design Process
It is necessary to design a craft table (desk) which have functions both doing handwork and study, to solve the problems of difficult garbage cleaning and the placement of materials and tools on desktop. To fit for more people and bring more convenience for them (craft lovers and craftsmen), I set it in small space and appropriate price.

Working Pattern
· Move the trash away directly in front of you.
· Can remove the trash can straightaway with one hand.
Rotate the hidden layer below to the right and put the dispersed materials on it to extend the desktop that the users use.
· Tools have been classificated clearly.
· Get the craft tools directly without searchng for a long time.
Another convenient place to hold the users’ tools, materials or even trivia.
Use it as a normal desk when the users are not doing handcraft.
Put your cup to the safe place to avoid affecting your works.
